Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the interior of Christ Church in Chaptico. This view show the organ loft and the dark organ pipes. Six pillars, four with Corinthian capitals, support the edge of the round arch that runs the length of the building. White paneling with dark trim shields the organist from the parishioners below. Two pendant hexagonal lights are visible and two metal bullet lights shine on the organist's music sheets. The entrance to the sanctuary has two interior wooden doors with narrow vertical rectangular panels buttressed by an outer door with boards at an angle to give a herringbone effect. A door on the left shows a stairway in the background. A similar door on the right is closed. Text on scrapbook page: "Christ Church Chaptico King and Queen parish Present church erected 1736"
