Description

This is a color photograph of a church hall built by James Adams in Chesapeake City, Md. as it appeared in June 1989. It is a small plain one story gable roof building of cafe-au-lait stucco with mustard colored trim. The photo is of the gable end and long side of the building. It has an uninterrupted expanse of light gray shingle roof. On the right is a substantial outside chimney of a generous fireplace. On the opposite side of the roof near the entrance is a small chimney. There is a gable roof protecting the double entrance door on the gable end. An eight-light window is visible to the left of the door. On the long side of the building is a set of three eight-light windows, one eight-light window on each side of the large chimney, another set of three eight-light windows and a single eight-light window near the back corner. There is shrubbery next to the building. There is a wooden rail fence in poor repair in the foreground of the photo. There is a pedestrian sign and a crossroad sign next to the fence. There are houses and other buildings visible in the neighborhood. **************************************** Text on verso: Stamped in blue ink "June 89 N"
