Cleveland the horseEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1776Description
Black and white copy of a photo of Cleveland, the Fenwick's horse, hitched to an empty buggy and standing patiently in the street. Mr. Fenwick thought the location was in front of a hotel [not Hotel St. Mary's] with a one story store of Simms Fenwick next door. The fully-leafed trees obscured most of the building on the left. Eleanor Ripple said Cleveland was a primary breadwinner in the family by standing at stud several times each year.
