Description

6"h x 3 3/4"w black and white copy of a sepia tone photo of Clinton Abell taken in 1926. He was standing next to some flowering shrubbery; a building was barely visible behind him and to the right. He had dark hair, high forehead and narrow chin. He had on a patterned bow tie, a white shirt, a striped V-neck sweater and light trousers with very wide lower legs, somewhat like sailor's pants. His left thumb was hooked in his pants pocket. In black fountain ink at the top of the photo "Clinton 1926" and "Fenwick" was added on the copy, but Clinton was not a Fenwick. ************************************** Text on verso: none visible
