Water color by Father Stephen Tushak of Clocker's Fancy in St. Mary's City. It is a summer scene. A yard is defined by a white picket fence with a gate on the long side. The story and a half white frame house with brick ends on the main block has an attached three bay porch. The two upper dormers begin just where the roof changes pitch to accomodate the porch. The main block has two outside end chimneys with corbeled caps. A tiny window is visible on the second floor or attic next to one chimney. One window is visible to the right of a central paneled door on the first floor. A single story addition on the right, whose roof peak rises to the middle of the second story of the main block, has one shuttered window visible. All shutters, by the way, are turquoise color. Beyond that addition are two outbuildings, nestled side by side, each with central doors. One has a small window in an attic space and the other has a window on the side. On the other side of the main block are two connected frame additions. The first has a roof peak which centers on the chimney of the main block and rises only to floor level of the second story of the main block. This addition has one window centered in its wall. The second addition is very small and while its roof parallels that of the previous addition, it is not as high. One shuttered window is on the narrow side and a door is centered in the end of this addition. It has no chimney. A few steps away is a square frame building with a pyramid roof, probably an ice house or dairy house. It has a single door in the side facing the viewer.
