3 1/2"h x 5"w black and white photo of a house Dr. Guyther identified as the Coad House ca. 1880. This elevation showed a white probably clapboard two story main house with a smaller two story addition on the right and a single story addition even farther on the right--a telescope house. The house had gable cedar shake roofs on all the parts, with an outside end chimney on the left gable end, an outside end chimney between the low wing and the middle part, and an outside end chimney on the gable end of the low part. Another chimney poked above the roofline of the main house about two thirds of the way along the roof peak. The second floor had a set of two six over six double hung windows on the left end of the main bloc, a space, and then one more six over six double hung window on the right end of the main bloc. The center bloc had two evenly spaced six over six double hung windows. The windows all had dark shutters. On the first floor of the main bloc, there were two two over two double hung windows on the left and the entry door on the right. In the center bloc there were two evenly spaced two over two double hung windows. The low section had a door and a very small window. There were shutters on the first floor windows, but not the doors. There was a higher than usual white picket fence in front of the building with a sizable gate near the house's front door.
