Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w view of Collingwood in Abell, Md. This view shows a gable end and much of the front of a two story clapboard house with an outside end brick chimney. There is another chimney just visible on the back of the house. The porches are protected by closed end shed roofs. There is a cross-gabled bay visible on the front of the house. It has a gable roof and then under it a three part hip roof. On the second floor are three? six over six double hung windows, two or more windows in the first bay and at least one window beyond. On the first floor there are two six over six windows visible on the open porch, but under the bay and beyond is a screened porch, so no windows are visible. The porch appears to be two steps above the ground. Each window is carefully outlined in a contrasting color and the corners of the house are also. There are large bushes and trees around the house.
