Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the Colored Society Hall in Hurry. This is a gable roof building with a bell tower. This view is of the gable end with the entrance. The building is supported on low posts at the corners and is open below. There are three steps from the ground to the double wooden door with a two light transom. There is no glazing in the doors. Above the door is an electric light and near the peak of the roof is a square window, tipped to be a diamond with four lights. On each side of the door is a large six over six window. The electric meter is between the left window and the corner of the building. The building has asbestos? siding in a brick motif. The bell tower is right on the peak of the roof and near the front. It is square, with four posts, one on each corner and a simple starburst railing in front of the bell. The pyramid roof has dark shingles. There is a path to the door, but no driveway, nor is there any landscaping.
