6 3/8"h x 4 1/2"w sepia tone photo of James Combs, his son and son-in-law. Mr. Combs is seated in a high back chair with his son over his right shoulder and his son-in-law on his left. Neither young man is named. Mr. Combs had white hair and a white mustache and beard. He had on a dark double-breasted suit and a vest. His trousers may have had a quiet pattern to them. He had on boots, I think. His son wore a dark suit with possibly a plaid vest and a doubled watch chain draped across the front. He had on a white shirt with a quite large white tie. The son-in-law had on a small cap with an emblem in the center front. The lapels of his coat were small and short. He also had on a vest and watch chain. He had on a patterned four-in-hand- necktie. The backdrop was probably a painted board.
