1 booklet ; 8 1/2" x 16 3/8" Deep gold heavy paper folded brochure for the schools to use during Conservation Week, April 9-13, 1934. The brochure was printed and distributed by the Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland. It contained a description of Arbor Day and Bird Day as part of a brief message by Governor Ritchie, an appeal to teachers to instill respect for the natural world in the young, a list of flowers, and a list of plants attractive to birds.
