Clara Hyatt Kent was J. Allan Coad's stepdaughter. All the relatives on that side called Coad "Swish."
April 17, 1959 Mrs. Kent was building a house in Florida and Coad had offered to send her anything she wanted from Porto Bello. She was interested in two small pictures. She signed her letters "Bobs" or "Babs."
November 19, 1959 She told Coad she would be happy to have a particular sculpture. She sent information about freight locations because the sculpture was heavy. She was happy to be making her last move and getting all her possessions out of storage.
November 30, 1959 She found the pictures mentioned in an earlier letter and expected to find a particular set of books in the next box.Collection
