September 8, 19?? Laura thanked Coad for his letter with information about cousin Kitty. She planned a trip to the County for a rummage sale and had a lot to say about St. George Church. Apparently she and Coad were not yet married since she was not staying with him. She may have mentioned a hurricane.
July 22, 1955 Laura thanked Coad for his letter. There was a transportation strike in Washington, D.C. She mentioned someone named Lacy.
These two letters were on stationery liberated from the H.M.S. Queen Elizabeth liner. Laura [Lallie] and other family members were on a trip to Europe, but J. Allan Coad stayed home.
No date From London Nice hotel, wonderful sightseeing, but she fretted about things at home. France was next.
October 7, 1959 Relatives in France were showing them around. Lallie had a cold, but was better. The group would start for home in a week. She had lots of directions about postage, hoping for a letter from Coad.Collection
