Couple in a buggyEntry/Object ID
1986.002.0023Description
5"h x 4 1/8"w tintype of a couple in a four wheeled buggy pulled by a white horse. The woman wore a dark heavy coat with the collar turned up and a medium sized hat. The man had on a brimmed hat and a heavy coat with a cape. His collar was also turned up. There was a blanket across their laps and legs. The cover on the buggy was folded down, probably for the photograph. There did not appear to be any cargo area in the buggy. The photographer needed to be far away to get everything in the photo, so the faces of the people are difficult to make out.
