3 1/8"h x 3 1/4"w black and white photo of Coxe's Endeavor. The story and a half rectangular clapboard building with a gable shake roof had an outside end chimney on each end. On the left end of the building was a single story gable shake roof clapboard addition that paralleled the main building and surrounded the chimney. The building was in marginal repair. The earth in front was all dug up and in random piles. On the visible side there was space for a window, two doors, side by side, and a window with twelve lights. Directly above that window was a small six light window right under the eaves. There was a single twelve? light window on the side of the addition, a small six light horizontal window in the peak of the addition gable, and a six over six window on the first floor of the gable end. Electric power lines and the meter were also on the gable end. The appearance of the clapboards on the main building suggests that it was half its size at first.
