Cross Manor door and panelingEntry/Object ID
2007.008.0013Description
Color photo. This photo is very dark. On the left, there is an open doorway with white sash and dark lintel. The brick wall next to the door is failing. A pipe runs from floor to ceiling halfway between the door and the corner of the room and a reinforcing rod is at a right angle to the pipe. The joists are exposed. A large piece of paneling is at an angle from the ceiling to the wall--it may be the underside of a staircase. Paneling defines the fireplace which has a brick face almost to the ceiling. A circular hole was beaten into this brick for a stove pipe. On the verso: The usual strip of text in blue: "Jul 90 C."Collection
