Description

Color photo. This is very dark. The light comes from the left, whether from a window or a hole in the wall is not apparent. The fireplace is arched at the top with a mantel of wood. The brick extends well above the fireplace and there seems to be a hole in that brick for a stovepipe. There is paneling on the right and a door?, piece of paneling? leaned against the fireplace on the left. There may be another piece of paneling in the fireplace, leaning toward the camera. There is a large opening to the left of the fireplace. Generally a scene of destruction. On the verso: Gummed white label 3/4"h x 2 1/4"w with "Cross Manor" written in black ink and the usual strip of text in blue: "Jul 90 C."
