Description

Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of Dameron [Saint Jerome's Crossroads House] in St. Jerome's Neck. This picture shows an entry door from the porch to the house. The pattern of the clapboards on the right indicates an addition to the house. The door is flanked by six over six double hung windows. There is a stone stoop with a dark doormat. A phone line? crosses under the door and goes into the house about one foot up from the stoop. The porch floor is brick without a finished edge. Two porch posts are visible. Above the porch are two dormers that appear to have six over six double hung windows. ******************************************* Text on verso: "Picture 22 Dameron St. Jerome's Neck 1954" This photo was on page 8 of Binder 1.
