4"h x 6"w green tone photo of De La Brooke Manor house. This is a photo of a photo. The circular drive was present. Two large black touring cars were pulled up in front of the house. The house had a steep gable roof with paired inside end chimney blocs at each end. There were two dormers, also with gable roofs. There were six over six windows in the dormers; one pane was missing from the window on the right. On the right gable end, two windows were visible in the attic. On the long wall on the second floor, there were three large six over six double hung windows with shutters; one shutter on the center and right windows was closed. On the gable end, a single narrow window with shutters was visible on the second floor. On the first floor, the entry door was on the left; its porch had a hipped roof supported by two posts. There was a simple railing on each side of the small porch floor which was seven steps from the ground. Most of the space under the porch was enclosed. There were two six over six double hung windows with dark shutters to the right of the door. There was a window for the basement, but its shutters were closed. On the right gable end of the main house was a narrow two story brick addition with its own gable roof and inside end chimney. On its long wall, there were three windows on the second floor and a center door flanked by a single window on the first floor. The gable end had no windows at all. About fifty feet to the right and in line with the addition, there was a two story gable roof clapboard building. The river was in the middle distance. The building was painted white part way up the foundation. The house looked unused and sad.
