4"h x 6"w color photo with a greenish tone of De La Brooke Manor house in snow. The gable end of the house and part of the back porch were covered with ivy vines. Tsk! There was a double chimney on the visible gable end with two four over four windows in the attic, larger six over six shuttered windows on the second floor, and even larger six over six shuttered windows on the first floor. There were two gable roofed dormers in the roof with six over six windows. Three windows with shutters were visible above the front porch roof. The front porch was supported by two square posts and had a simple railing on each side. There were trellises on the porch also. Just beyond the main building, two windows in the gable end addition were just visible. The shed roof for the entry door to the addition was also visible because of the snow load it carried. The screened porch on the back of the main building had a hipped roof and was two bays deep. It had white posts. The snow appeared to be quite deep; I wonder if the photographer snowshoed in.
