Description

4"h x 6"w color photo of De La Brooke Manor house. This view shows the front of the buildings and the right gable end. The house was covered with ivy vines. There was a double chimney on the visible gable end with two windows in the attic. There was a single barely visible window on the second floor at the corner of the building. There were two gable roofed dormers in the roof with six over six windows. Three windows with shutters were above the front porch roof; the center window's left shutter was damaged. The front porch was supported by two square posts and had a simple railing on each side. There were trellises on the porch also. There were two sets of four light basement windows; the set on the right had shutters. There were three windows in the second floor gable end addition. The shed roof for the entry door to the addition was supported on round posts. There was one six over six shuttered window on each side of the door. All but the basement windows had window boxes with red flowers. There was a white millstone propped up on the front of the addition left of the porch. The circular drive was clear of vehicles. ********************************** Text on verso: Just the logo "Kodak Picture Maker paper"
