Water color by Father Stephen Tushak of De la Brooke Manor's parlor in Oraville, Md. This room contains a fireplace in a projecting chimney breast. All the visible walls have a wainscot of brown wood with square and rectangular panels and elaborate carving above the window openings. There is elaborate crown molding and an even more elaborate frieze throughout the room. There are three windows visible in the room. The one on the same wall as the fireplace is smaller and has red drapery only. The other two windows have floor length draperies and red swags. Between those two windows is a large mirror in a gilt frame hung over a table graced by a vase of flowers. In the corner are hung three portraits. Under the small window is a cupboard with doors. Several pieces of china are on its top. Over the mantel are hung a large oval portrait of Mary and the Christ child, a landscape and other small pieces. There are several urns on the mantel. A high archway next to the fireplace suggests a door. The fireplace has brass andirons and a low screen around the hearth. A rectangular oriental style carpet is on the floor. A upholstered sofa, footstool and wing chair are closest to the fireplace and an embroidered firescreen is near the wing chair. There is an upholstered chair with wooden arms and two carved wooden chairs with upholstered seats elsewhere in the room. There are also two occasional tables. A chandelier hangs in the middle of the room.
