Description

The Courts were selected to be photographed for a USDA Extension Service filmstrip about self-sufficiency on the farm--grow and preserve your own food to obviate the need for cash. This is a black and white photo. Photo 12. Mary Court is delivering milk to Hope Greenwell, principal of Great Mills Elementary School. It must be summer, for all the school windows are wide open, but Miss Greenwell has on a black dress with long sleeves. Notice the broken glass in the door that is open. There is chicken-wire in the glass, so someone had to work hard to break it.
