Description

4"h x 5 7/8"w color photo of the Dent Memorial Chapel in Charlotte Hall. There had been a heavy snowfall. The photographer was facing the front entrance of the church while standing in the street. There was a wooden picket fence at the sidewalk by the road. The sidewalk to the building had been cleared. The church has a very steep roof with stone belfrey atop the gable end. The entryway to the building has a similar steep roof. The church is made of dark stone with red sandstone? accents around the pointed arch doors and windows. There is large red wooden door in the entry. A large Christmas wreath was around the rose window in the gable end. ********************************** Text on verso: in black ink "Dent Memorial Chapel--Mar 2005"
