4"h X 6"w landscape orientation color photograph of the Dent Memorial Chapel in Charlotte Hall. The photographer was on the front left of the gable entry end of the building. It had a very steep slate roof with large overhangs. A small belfry was on the very edge of the building at the roof peak. The belfry was made of stone and brick only a couple of courses thick rising to a steep peak just like the roof. A bell hung in the small opening in the center of the belfry. The soffits were painted brown and there were sawtooth verge boards on the gable end. A stone entry with a steep slate roof was on the first level of the gable end. Directly above its roof peak was a round window into the sanctuary. There was a narrow pointed arch window next to the entry. A ramp with wooden railings led up to the entry door. There were four visible narrow pointed arch windows on the long side of the chapel. A man was barely visible standing under a tree on the right.
