6"h X 4"w portrait orientation color photograph of the dedicatory stone inside the Dent Memorial Chapel in Charlotte Hall. A large silvery gray pointed arch piece of limestone? was imbedded in a brick niche next to the organ. At the very top, a Maltese cross was etched in the stone. Text: "In memory of Rev. Hatch Dent one of the founders of Charlotte Hall School and its first principal 1796-1799." The brick arch was outlined in dark glazed brick. The hymn numbers were slid into slots on the wooden "silo," and a speaker was high up in the corner of the walls. An exit door was behind the organist and electrical conduit painted cream ran down the brick walls on each side of the door.
