6"h X 4"w portrait orientation color photograph of the interior of the Dent Memorial Chapel in Charlotte Hall. There was a large pendant light above the photographer. The altar was lighted and its side walls were a deep cream or white. The stairs to the altar looked like a bookcase. There was a lectern on each side of the opening and each one had a square tapestry hanging from its front. There was a low dark wooden rail around the altar. The altar was also covered in tapestry with a silvery cross sitting on it. On a slightly lower table, covered in deep red velvet, there was a candle on each side of the altar. There were three leaded glass windows above the altar in the back wall; the center one was the largest. There was a dish of low flowers below this window. The United States flag was on the left, the Maryland flag was on the right as was the flag of the Episcopal Church.
