18 ¼”h x 7 ¾”w The book's pages were numbered in blue. At the top of a few pages was a handwritten date. Often, two days were on a page, with a handwritten date. The ledger covers were rusted shut, so the sample pages were trimmed out of the ledger. Column 1: Blank 2: Blank, although occasionally the 1st letter of depositor’s surname 3: Date, handwritten, names of depositors and sometimes notes or numbers 4: Numbers, with those in red representing savings deposits Each day’s activity was totaled, with the black and red numbers done separately.
