Black and white 3 1/8"h x 3 1/8"w photo of Deptford, a small frame house in California, Md. The gable roof had a long slope in the back, much like a salt box house, to incorporate an addition. There was a small inside chimney near each end of the roof peak. On the visible gable end, there was one four light window in the attic. The electrical lines reached the house on this end. A screened three bay porch covered about three quarters of the front wall of the house. The porch floor was two small steps from the ground. There was a closed end shed roof for the porch with a minimal slope over the porch.
