12 1/8"h x 16 1/2"w sheepskin diploma from Charlotte Hall School presented to John Francis Dent on June 18, 1914. He had satisfactorily completed the Classical course. The diploma was signed, faintly, by George M. Thomas, principal, J. F. Coad, assistant principal, J. F. Fenwick, English teacher, W. I. Westcott, Commandant, and Harry W. Stimson, another commandant. A 1 1/4" wide black and gold ribbon is threaded through the text 3 1/8" from the left edge. The bottom edge of the ribbon is notched and fastened with a "gold" paper seal.Collection
