1 folder ; 9 5/8 x 14 3/4" Members of the Dorsey family practiced law in the county for generations. First and final administration account filed in the Orphan's Court of St. Mary's County by Philip E. Clarke, executor of the estate of Charles K. Clarke, his father. Cash, real estate, and tobacco made up the bulk of the estate. The executor paid the taxes, for the funeral, and other fees, leaving a balance of $48,712.94 to be distributed. Two children of the deceased, a nephew, and several grandchildren all benefited.
