October 29, 1919 Mr. Dorsey prepared this document for the court clerk to file--it is basically a notice that Dorsey has been assigned to foreclose on property where John Curry and his wife defaulted on the mortgage. January 21, 1921 Public notice of the sale of foreclosed property; in this case, the mortgagor failed to keep up payments to the National Slovak Society. March 1, 1930 Harry Weiner took a chattel mortgage on a flock of lambs in which Harry Stone had an interest. If Stone repaid the money, the mortgage was cancelled. June 23, 1930 Philip Dorsey, Jr. took a chattel mortgage on a mule and half of a tobacco crop. August 11, 1931 Public notice of the sale of a foreclosed 191 acre farm. June 9, 1939 The Thompsons and the Smiths were able to obtain a loan from Frances Hutchins. They obligated themselves to repay the money to Hutchins, but in the event of her death, they were to complete the obligation by paying it to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Baltimore.
