The front of this postcard is a sepia-toned photograph of a waterfront. In the lower left corner of the card it says, "Swann's Hotel" and in the lower right corner, "Piney Point, Maryland." Several boats are tied at the pier and low buildings are visible through trees. Only one person is visible: a man working in his boat, a dory, in the foreground. His boat carries registration number N4982. A lowered sail is visible on one dory. On the address side, the card is bisected by a line. To the left of the line it says, "This space may be used for communication" and to the right of the line it says, "(For address only)" This card was never used.Collection
