Name/Title
Eleanor Thomas' grave at Deep Falls 2Entry/Object ID
2016.002.0174Description
10 5/8"h x 8"w black and white photocopy of a photo. There is no date for the photo. This shows the grave for Eleanor Thomas, daughter of Sarah Clare Thomas. Even after cleaning, the stone was dark and most of the text was barely legible. It had a circular top and at the apex was an indentation where one could just discern a small lamb lying down--a sure sign that the person was a child. This grave was fenced with scalloped marble stones and had a footstone. This is at the cemetery at Deep Falls.
