Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Elizabeth Hill in an advanced state of decay. This story and a half frame house had a very high steep gable roof. On the near gable end are two very tall separate chimneys. There may have been a pent between them. There are two gable roofed dormers in the roof, but all glazing is long gone. On the lower floor, the door opening is on the left and two window openings are evenly spaced on the front wall. No door or glazing remains here either. This was the home of Dr. James Dorsey Sutton, an early physician. He probably came to the county in 1827 or 1828.
