Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Ellenborough. This view through the tobacco field shows the two story brick gable end of what is probably the original building. There is a one story addition in the foreground and a two story wing at right angle to the main building on the back left. There is a hipped roof open porch on that portion. The brick gable end has an inside end single chimney with two small four light windows right up under the eaves. There are no other openings on the face. The gable end of the one story clapboard addition has an outside end brick chimney and no openings on the face. On the far clapboard portion there is only one nine over nine window visible on the first floor. There is a picket fence between the house yard and the tobacco field that has carefully measured pickets of differing heights to create a scalloped effect. There is a large television aerial on the house and an lightning rod on the large chimney.
