Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Ellenborough in Leonardtown. This view is from a tobacco field with a picket fence with a scalloped top between the photographer and the house yard. A small gable roofed one story addition is on the left with an outside end chimney on the gable end. The main house likewise has a gable roof, with the gable end finished in brick and with an inside end chimney. There are two small square windows up near the eaves. Five nine over six windows with dark shutters are on the second floor of the clapboard side of the house. There is a shed roof over a porch that extends along the entire first floor of the building. The porch is at least four bays wide. There is a central door that has a small transom and two windows with dark shutters on each side of the door.
