Scope and Content

An email from Jim Chrismer to Betty Stuart about how JAW was not included in a photo referenced. The photo in question is a printed out image, taken of a powerpoint presentation. The image has a header: "Heritage of Courage... The Societ [cuts out]." In the image are 14 men, 12 of whom are elderly with relatively long hair and fashionable dress, holding hats in their laps and many sporting a sash crossing from their right shoulder to left hip. The powerpoint shows red, but the photo included on it is black and white. The caption reads: "Old Defenders at Druid Hill Pavilion, Baltimore, Maryland, 1880" and is credited to the Maryland Historical Society. Since JAW died before 1880, he is not included in this image. Along with the email and attached printout are three modern photos of a trip to a historical site. It appears to be a national park due to a Park Ranger included in one image. All three photos are of restored cannons on red supports with wheels. In the background is a body of water. It is likely Fort McHenry but the location is not mentioned.
