This is a personal recounting of Benjamin's mother Margaret Bissell in regards to her visiting her wounded husband William Bissell near Gettysburg. Mr. Bissell had been wounded during the battle in both the arm and leg. He was a soldier for the confederacy. Unfortunately, William had to get an arm amputated and later died from complications afterwards.Collection
