Description

This is a 1987 photo of Evelyn Gant Hewlett. She is looking straight into the camera with a nice smile. She has a broad nose and deep creases and her mouth is straight across. Her white hair is in a small bun on the top and back of her head. She has on a light colored knit short-sleeve top with binding around the V-neck. One of her collarbones is rather prominent. Compare this with the photo of Sarah Gant, her grandmother. Below her image is the catchphrase for the exhibit, "Celebrating the Women of St. Mary's County's Past."
