Context

This is an excerpt Hope took from "The Register of the Parish Church of Whalley". From the years of 1538 to 1601. There are nine pages of which the latter two pages are from the index. Hope underlined on pages five and six the churches relevant to her research. Of which are New Church in Pendle, the New and Old Churches of Accrington, the Church of Altham and the Church of Whalley. The second to last page is where Hope highlighted in green the names of Crombock (Crombocke, Crobocke and Crumboe) along with Cunliffe (Cunlyfe, Cunelyffe, Cundliffe and Cundlyffe). The final page simply has a checkmark next to the name of Robert Cunliffe.
