Context

This is an excerpt Hope took from "The Registers of the Parish Church of Burnley". The cover lists christenings, weddings and burials. All from the years of 1562 to 1653. Pages two and three are the preface to the registers - followed by four and five being from the index of names. Both of which the Cunliffe sections highlighted by Hope. The final page is mostly research notes Hope wrote down about "Cunleffes" from Burnley and Hirstwood. The individuals listed are Robert Cunliffe of Burnley, Nicholas Cunleffe of Hirstwood, Christabell Cunleffe, Mary Cunliffe and Anne Cunleffe.
