The documents is one page that folds out. On one side facing out it states "Expenses from Election" and "Nov 2^d, 1880". It contains the election expenses from the 1st through 8th districts of St. Mary's County. The names of those who incurred the expenses and how they incurred them are organized by county, and their expenses are listed in an opposing column next to the name. There is a short sentence at the top certifying that the following people "served at an election for President Vice President and members of Congress on the 2^d day of November 1880."
