Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Eyrie on Chesapeake Bay near Hermanville. This is a gable roof house with a steep pitch that incorporates the porch roof. On the right is a pair of tall brick chimneys with vertical egg shaped corbels. There are two gable roof dormers with six over six double hung windows in the main house. There are seven pillars supporting the porch roof, plus other vertical posts to support the screening. The entry door to the porch is on the left end. On the gable end of the house is one window up in the peak that is six over six; a much larger window than that found in most houses. On the same level as the dormers are two six over six double hung windows and on the first floor just one nine over six window is visible. The clapboards are either dirty or in need of paint.
