Black and white 3 1/2"h x 5 3/4"w photo of Fenwick Free at Beachville. This is a story and a half house with a very high roof. The visible porch is incorporated into the roofline. This photo is overexposed, so some details are difficult to see. There are outside end chimneys on each gable end and on the left there is an addition and yet another chimney. There are two dormers with six over six double hung windows. The gable end near the camera is brick, with a first floor nine over six window between the chimney and the porch. There is scaffolding in front of the porch, a ladder to the roof, and a chicken run up the roof. The porch is five bays wide, with the roof supported on very simple poles. The openings to the house are window, door, window, door, window. The near door has no glazing and the other door has a screen. There is a large old beech tree near the camera.
