Fireplace in house on St. Jerome's PointEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1252Description
Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of another fireplace. Much of the plaster has left the lath on the walls and the brick over the fireplace. The mantel and molding around the fireplace are simple. There is a panel with an incised horizontal rectangle over the firebox that serves to raise the mantel considerably. There are some sort of metal fittings halfway down on each vertical molding closest to the firebox. The firebox is cluttered with bricks and general junk. A chair rail is visible on the walls.
