Black and white 8"h x 7"w photo of First National Bank of St. Mary's in Leonardtown. This appears to be a photocopy onto photographic paper--it is very grainy and indistinct. The long brick rectangular building has a gable roof and a shallow porch supported on pillars with Ionic capitals. The porch is three steps above the pavement. A dark double door with an elaborate fanlight is on the right and a large window, also with an elaborate fanlight, is on the left. Above the pillars is a cornice with subdued decoration, but the pediment has a round seal in the center and all manner of laurel swags and other decorations in the triangle. There is some sort of decoration on the very peak of the roof and two chimneys are visible on the left side of the roof peak. Three tall narrow windows are visible on the long side of the building.Collection
