6 3/4"h x 5"w yellowed black and white photo of Forrest Hall. It was a large old house with three parts visible in the photo. The nearest section was a crude clapboard gable roofed one and a half story building. It had a large chimney on the gable end. There was a small unglazed opening on each side of the chimney stack. There were no windows on the first floor gable end. On the long wall there was a center door and a window on each side of it. The building probably had a shake roof. The next section had a dark gable roof whose line nearly matched the first part of the house. There was a chimney between the sections just below the roof peak on the opposite side from the photographer. A closed shed roof porch of a single bay had been added to this section. Beyond this section was a larger section with a very long, but low, roof slope. There was a very tall chimney at the far gable end. Black chickens were looking for food in the yard.
