This off-white, very dirty card has a black and white photo of Foxwell's Point. Most of the property is obscured by trees. The house and yard were surrounded by a white picket fence. Agnes sent the card to Catherine Greenwell thanking her for peaches, for which St. Mary's County used to be famous. There is a green penny stamp with a bad likeness of Ben Franklin in the upper right corner.

The card was postmarked May 30, 1909 from Britton? MD. bearing a green one cent stamp with a profile of Benjamin Franklin. The writer, J. C. Howard, was apparently an insurance agent asking R. H. Garner, George Gough and a Mr. Jameson to send premiums directly to Howard.Collection
