This page is torn in such a way that it bears a resemblance to the Matterhorn. Three deputy sheriffs took the oath: Joseph H. Shemwell, J. Frank Smith, and James R. Alvey. The deputies swore the oath before J. Frank Ford, court clerk. A photocopy of the piece and a transcription are included.Collection
