Scope and Content

4 folders 8 1/2" x 11", 1 folder 8 1/2" x 14", 1 compact disk Frank and Betty Ann Davis lived across the street from the Historical Society for many years. After his retirement from C & P Telephone, Frank volunteered for several organizations. He was a docent at the Society's Old Jail for many years, a member of Knights of Columbus, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and an avid bowler. He became ill with cancer rather suddenly and did not live too long after his diagnosis. His wife lived in the family home for a year or so and then moved to Cedar Lane. The earliest parts of the collection may have been begun by others. He was a fan of lighthouses, which is sampled in the collection. The other scrapbooks were sampled for county information and photos. His books were sent to the Research Center at the Society.
